Who will be who?

Elizabeth		Also called Lizzy or Eliza. It is advisable to change these 3 names to one new name or three variations of the same name.
Lizzy		Same as Elizabeth
Eliza		Same as Elizabeth
Fitzwilliam		Two individuals share this name: Fitzwilliam Darcy and his cousin Colonel Fitzwilliam. Replacing this name will change the name of both persons.
Darcy		Surname.
Bennet		Surname. The script will take care of the plural: Bennets.
Jane		Jane Bennet has same first name as the author of the book. The script will take care that author's name is not changed.
Mary		Mary Bennet
Catherine		Catherine Bennet. Also called Kitty. Catherine has the same first name as Lady Catherine De Bourgh.
Kitty		Same as Catherine. It is advisable to change both names to the same new name or to two variations of the same name.
Lydia		Lydia Bennet
Charles		Charles Bingley
Caroline		Caroline Bingley

Tips for tweaking books

When tweaking a book you can really mess it up and make it unreadable, for example giving all characters the same name. Here are some useful tips to follow:

Watch the information provided after each name and follow the recommendations.
Don't mix male and female names.
Don't confuse first names with surnames.
